Biography
Mike is a sound engineer, location sound recordist, CASA ReOC and RePL licensed drone operator based in Melbourne (Naarm). Mike started out with a keen interest in live audio in his teen years and studied sound production at RMIT University. He has been working in live audio and production for over 15 years, aerial photography and video for the past 7 years and more recently, has been loving jumping behind the lens of a camera and the challenges involved in mastering a new skill.
Mike has worked on diverse projects such as network cooking and news television programs, adventure reality shows, nature documentaries, lifestyle shows, film, network dramas, ob docs, live concert recordings, sport events and corporate shoots.
A firm believer in being well and truly over prepared, then going with the flow ensures he’s well organised but also ready for whatever may come up. Friendly, easy going with a cheeky sense of humour, Mike enjoys working with others and is always willing to help other team members.
